Marketing & Business Development Manager Reviews

What is it like working as a Marketing & Business Development Manager?

March 2014
Fast Paced Life.
Marketing & Business Development Manager:
Pros: I enjoy that my job is always at a fast pace. My job requires me to be extremely organized and forces me to work in a very time sensitive manner. These 2 major requirements leave little down time and I enjoy that. I enjoy coming to work knowing that I can always do something different, try something new, to create a better end result.
Cons: If I had to choose the least "favorite" thing about my position it would be the lack of organization and effort my team sometimes brings to the table. In my position, it is constantly keeping me working harder and harder, to generate more sales - but if the Sales Professionals aren't doing their part, we are all sort on bonus pay for the month.

Be Confident.
Marketing & Business Development Manager:
Marketing is often unappreciated by other people in a practice, because we are seen as a support service rather than something that brings in the money, quantify the value of your department and the work you do in order to get support (and budget) to do your work.
