April 2014
Timeline.
Legal Assistant:
Five year maximum learning leader, advance shortly thereafter, highly organization, review and double check work for continuity, Don't settle.
March 2014
Legal Assistant:
Pros: We are tight knit like a family at the firm and the work varies daily. Sometimes, work includes writing letters and typing dictation, running to the courthouse and scheduling appointments. Other times, it's much more fast-paced, a little stressful and frustrating, generating documents from thin air and assisting new and old clients as they call, walk in the door, etc. The variation of my job is what keeps every day interesting. The people here make it worthwhile.
Cons: Sometimes overwhelming, sometimes thankless. Usually, my least favorite parts of the job correlate to the complexity of the work I am doing. Sometimes, that means I'm doing a mundane task. Sometimes, that means my head is spinning and I don't know where to go with what I'm doing.
