Great Culture!
Fund Accountant in Ogden:
Pros: UMB Fund Services has a great casual work environment with a great culture and great benefits.
Cons: The “work/life balance” touted by the company appears to be isolated to specific teams, clients, and funds. Workload dispersion and rotation needs to improve. They are also not very transparent about how pay is determined — the methods and calculations. They just tell us it’s fair and that they pay market value — without telling us how they determine that or whether they take the average or the median market value.
