What is it like working as a Financial Analyst?

March 2020
Underpaid, under-appreciated, all political.
Financial Analyst in Boston:
Pros: Most people great to work with.
Cons: Politics and personalities rule all aspects of business. Merit has no factor, it’s all about kissing the right rings. Petty, vindictive people chase away talent, leave the worst in place. AVOID.

Interactively Challenging Evolving Environment.
Financial Analyst in San Francisco:
Pros: It never gets boring because new things are happening every day.
Cons: Not getting paid enough based on salary averages.
March 2020
50/50 shot of having a good manager.
Financial Analyst in Seattle:
Pros: I enjoy that they give you full ownership of everything you do
Cons: With the full ownership Amazon expect you to work extreme hours continuously and doesnt really value their employees. Typical tenure in AWS is 1 year and rest of amazon is a little longer
February 2020
Great.
Financial Analyst in Denver:
Pros: The people here are outstanding!
Cons: Nothing seems to get done during meetings and this company loves meetings.
February 2020
It's good opportunity to work with different cultural people to understand the way of business works in different countries and the way people do the accounting process.
Financial Analyst in Bangkok:

Cons: Discrimination of Salary among employees
January 2020
Financial Analyst in Phoenix:
Chime is an excellent small company - very nimble with fun employees and managers who work hard for what they want. Everyone is very helpful Pay is very high, benefits are fantastic. It's a great place to work. It's a software company, and it has the problems a lot of small software companies have, but if you're prepared and knowledgeable about such things, it's easy to work around or sidestep the serious issues, deal with what you have to, and move on. There's plenty to learn, I'm never bored, and I'm always growing in my work thanks to a lot of very smart, well-educated team members/managers/officers.
January 2020
Really useful and enriching for a fresher.
Financial Analyst in Bengaluru:
Pros: Equality and indiscrimation towards all employees
Cons: Very high expectations from seniors
