Executive Administrative Assistant Reviews

What is it like working as an Executive Administrative Assistant?

Pros: The ability to work from home when ill or need to be home for contractors, etc.
Cons: Stuck, no where to go. Not having a direct report that can determine, if I am good, bad or great at my job and who then can directly reward me for my performance instead of burying me in heap with others across Canada and having people who have no idea who I am determine if I'm worthy.
