Executive Administrative Assistant Reviews
What is it like working as an Executive Administrative Assistant?

Don't be friends with your manager!
Executive Administrative Assistant:
Don't be friends with your manager and/or his/her family. When the family breaks up (as could likely happen), you will ALWAYS be in the middle of your manager and family... It's a very uncomfortable situation...especially if the break-up is not amicable.

Being An Executive Assistant. It's A Wonderful Life!
Executive Administrative Assistant:
Being an Executive Administrative Assistant is a wonderful job. I truly love the job I do, being able to support many people and build bridges to help different groups communicate and make the path much easier; getting things done in a more timely manner. Although it can be stressful in this role, you must meet challenges head on and not be afraid to admit your mistakes along the way, as long as you learn from them. Being nice to everyone and making them feel comfortable is very important too. People who normally approach this office are already intimidated by the level of the officer you work for, making it an easier transition by treating others as you'd want to be treated if the roles were reversed will help you in the long run, as you never know who you'll be working for or with. It's also important to focus on your computer skills, not being afraid to learn new things and stepping out. All in all, look at each day as a new challenge and meet it with a smile, never back down.

Pay Attention To Detail.
Executive Administrative Assistant:
My advise is to pay attention to the ways of your new boss so you can become most familiar with them and that way you can understand what he needs from you better. The way he talks and asks for things.
Also pay attention to detail and make sure you are accurate.
The most important aspect of our job is accuracy, detail and getting requests taken care of in a timely manner.
