Director of Operations Reviews

What is it like working as a Director of Operations?

April 2022
Fantastic- base pay is great, opportunity for advancement and bonus/ Commision structure is great!
Director of Operations in Austin:
Pros: It’s still a smaller company and takes pride in all 65 employees. Our employees are long lasting, educated, professionals in their field. From house cleaner to sales, to upper management. Nobody goes home on busy days till we all go home! Team work is great, pay could be better, but the environment is much better than competitors.
Cons: Hiring process is too lengthy, and usually we lose one or two great applicants due to how long it takes to onboard them. This should be improved to a two week program, not 3-5. Good people will go elsewhere, be paid less, treated worse, but have a steady paycheck. 84% of our staff has been with us over 10 years. Some have been all 14 years of our existence
April 2022
Stressful but Satisfying.
Director of Operations in Salt Lake City:
Pros: I feel appreciated and I know we do good work.
Cons: It is extremely stressful and I am underpaid.
March 2022
It is a very rewarding position. I love what I do.
Director of Operations in Plainfield:
Pros: Helping others be able to stay in their home and provide aid to their quality of life.
Cons: Calls and texts after hours, middle of the night, always on duty pretty much. If we have a consult, I am the one to fit it in my schedule.
March 2022
It’s time for Emerson to join us in the 21st century.
Director of Operations in Houston:
Pros: Leadership Flexibility Growth opportunities
Cons: Non-competitive total compensation Heavily mixed in O&G Offices and perks are stuck in the 80s
March 2022
Tampa is a great place to work and live.
Director of Operations in Tampa:
Pros: I was born and raised here so I have a lot of contacts and friends
Cons: The housing and rental market is skyrocketing. The mass transportation is non-existent and our Govenor cares more about hinself than the problems normal people are facing.
February 2022
If you gotta problem, yo I'll solve it.
