What is it like working as a Dental Assistant (Certified)?

August 2015
Rewarding.
Dental Assistant (Certified):
Pros: What I most enjoy about dental assisting is being able to transform a patients smile. Seeing that patients self esteem and confidence shining through them as they leave their appointment with a beautiful smile they thought they would never seen again. Knowing I was able to change a persons life mentally and physically with a new smile is the icing on the cake!
Cons: Lack of other team members help with side duties, having more than enough responsibilities with poor pay. Office conditions. No paid vacation or paid time off. Pay schedule issues.
