Pros: Always improving my skill and education through courses and new techniques by working with new dentists and learning new procedures. I enjoy working with my colleagues. The office is beautiful and up to date. I enjoy having the opportunity to broaden my horizon within the office.
Cons: Dentist to assistant ratio is not equal which makes vacation time difficult at times.

Just make sure you find an office that you can work there long term and that the people are true.

When starting school, look for an office and start doing free hours. Learn the names of all the instruments and how to take great radiographs. Most importantly, you need patience.

Willingness to learn, be very observant, don't expect high pay once you have done the Certificate for DA, Experience is everything. Think logical!
