Making A Difference.
Business Systems Analyst:
Pros: Being in a position to not only influence but directly drive positive change is a great positive take away in my time with Vitacost.
Being able to outright design solutions (with feedback from stakeholders) and then create technical/functional requirements in which a developer would code directly to is a boon in terms of getting things done.
Cons: Lack of project focus.
Inept project manager that only got in the way without providing any intrinsic value.
Constant shifting priorities - e.g. Spending a great deal of time focusing on one project; only to find out that a different *brand new* project has suddenly taken precedence.
Lack of a consistent direction. Questionable hiring practices and lack of upward mobility and recognition.
Efforts and successes are not marketed well enough.
