Administrative Assistant:
Pros: I have moderate autonomy to manage the amount of hours that I work. I can work remotely on occasion and taking vacation (unpaid) is handled amicably on a case-by-case basis.
Cons: There is stagnant growth and little potential to excel within the business. Because of the small size of the operation, I'm forever doomed to be a generalist, constantly taking care of duties I'd rather leave to someone else.
