The Home Depot Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at The Home Depot Inc.?
Sales Person in Wausau:
Lots of pressure to sell credit cards, understaffed. They preach a great culture, but the reality is quite different. Lots of managers that shouldn't be managers. Lots of phony camaraderie among employees. Gossip is rampant. It is a paycheck, pure and simple.
Im the best and the greatest they have seen in a long time.
Customer Service Associate in Union:
Pros: I like all the people I work with and they like me too. We all work together as a big family and together we can get things done.
Cons: The money a month is no good for me.
Overall decent place to work for someone just coming out of college maybe in there 20's or mid 20's. Not long time career though.
Forklift Operator in Indianapolis:
Pros: The benefits.
Cons: The commute to work.
Cashier? More like Lot Attendant.
Cashier in Titusville:
Pros: Cashiering and nice people
Cons: Being shoved in physically demanding departments and not getting paid more or less based on the department you're in.
Order Filler in Farmington:
Pros: I enjoy the physical demands on my body as it is helping me reach a goal of health that I have been working towards for six years.
Cons: The pro desk likes to pull my department away from our intended list of orders to pull orders we do not have visual access to I'm our first phones.
Love what I do.
Designer, Kitchen in Quincy:
Pros: I love being a kitchen designer in general.
Cons: I don’t like that come customers think Home Depot doesn’t have good designers. We are trained very well and most of us have degrees
Surly customers in a high stress environment with mostly poor help from managers.
Cashier in Poulsbo:
Pros: Benefits, Co-workers, Team atmosphere
Cons: Standing on cement, overworked & underpaid
