The Home Depot Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at The Home Depot Inc.?

Can be stressful with no appreciation or help.
Designer, Kitchen & Bath in Sarasota:
Pros: Designing. Getting to help customers while being creative and doing what I'm passionate about
Cons: The lack of good management, constant negativity going around. You can feel the fact that no one wants to be there.
Pay does not Equal Stress.
Drafter, Kitchen Design in Hillsboro:
Pros: I love the personal customer interactions, seeing the wants they have for their kitchen or bath space come to life. I enjoy the spacing challenges, and putting together a whole package of colors and textures to make their home unique.
Cons: No cradle-to-grave accountability when products are purchased. If something goes wrong, the first answer is almost always "it's the third party." Management waits for the fallout, then just gives back financial compensation instead of fixing the problem. It makes the sales team, myself included, look bad and have no backup.
Time Consuming, Challenging, opportunistic.
District Operations Manager in Denver:
Pros: I am trusted to run my district
Cons: I work long hours and it is incredible stressful
Busy and always learning.
Assistant Store Manager in Sandy:
Pros: The customer and my associates
Cons: The pay raises that won’t cover inflation and the market increases everyone got but salary
Lots of responsibilities.
Customer Service Associate in Chattanooga:
Pros: i like the flexible schedule i have and paid vacation time and tuition reimbursment
Cons: all of the drama and tasks that i am given that are not a part of my job title
Boring Standard Company.
Software Engineer in Kennesaw:
Pros: The pay starting out is good
Cons: The business is an old system that doesn't change or adapt to new practices, the work is boring, and you don't have opportunities to learn new skills
Very demanding however rewarding to get contractors what they need.
Inside Sales Representative in Clearwater:
Pros: The fast pace
Cons: Overworked sometimes and short staffed
