Midland Transport Reviews

What is it like working at Midland Transport?

It was a good job until approx.. 5 years ago, steadily getting worse.
Maintenance Supervisor in Dorval:
Pros: It was a good job until approx.. 5 years ago, steadily getting worse
Cons: Supposed to be Maintenance supervisor, but have to do dispatch, data entry clerk, check in clerk, billing clerk, and janitorial work while trying to do what I was hired to do. No two wat communication. No matter how much proof you have that upper management is wrong they do not accept responsibility, nor are they open to listening to issues. Terminal head is a bully with child like response when I try to talk reason (with proof in hand) to him.
Maintenance Coordinator in Montréal-Ouest:
15 years at Midland transport has been fairly good, Room for advancement. People are friendly, pay per job is in the norm, just on the lower end. All in all good place to be. From dock workers, to managment, all positions are fair.
