InfoSys Limited Reviews
What is it like working at InfoSys Limited?
Not to expect any Peace.
Software Test Lead in Chennai:
Pros: The client I work with
Cons: The company and its management and whatever they do.
It's a great job to start your career and learn new things.
Systems Engineer, IT in Hyderabad:
Pros: The management is co-operative and they listen to our suggestions
Cons: The pay scale is dissatisfactory for the amount of work we do
Engagement Manager in Pittsburgh:
Very few growth opportunities for sales career track. Pay is significantly lower than competition. I was surprised when I got my promotion offer and the compensation was literally $30K *less* than what was discussed for months with my leadership and HR. I was blindsided by a supposed "policy" that doesn't allow base compensation to go up more than a certain percentage if you're getting promoted. It was discouraging to know that there were people (mostly male) in the same role as me (Associate Engagement Manager) that were making $40K more than I was for the exact same job - all because they were hired into Infosys at that role. Not much of a morale booster, and confirms that the gender pay gap is REAL in tech. Especially for a company that claims to value a diverse and inclusive workforce and make it an equitable place for women - unfortunately it's all talk and no real action. When they announced they were taking away vacation accrual for all US employees through the end of the year, I started looking outside of the company. Landed a great job with a new firm, and making more money than I would have if Infosys had just paid me what they said they were going to pay. Even in one of my exit interviews, the HR person conducting my interview said, "Don't get stuck here."
Responsible towards many process related updates and knowledge.

Executive Assistant in London:

Cons: Processes are so long winded. Everything takes forever.
Software Engineer in Milwaukee:
U will be underpaid like really underpaid, while you are there. Even with a year of excellent performance, they will not offer anything close to market rates. Even when they made the counteroffer it is subpar.
Every now and then, u will get a feeling as if u are just another worker. Because people come and go within the company very frequently.
How you are treat and get support is mainly due to who is your manager. I am fortunate that I have a rather stable year.
In additional, since you are treated as a contractor, u r expected to know what to do already eventhou you do not know much. Some work are just routine like all you do is rinse and repeat for 6 months, u will feel brain dead and it's up to you to find more stuff to make it interesting.
Company site is outdated, everything is funnels back to India. Ie. An email to HR would take weeks, at times there are items that they just refused to do until being pushed hard enough.
