Cashier in Richmond:
Pros: The only thing I currently like about my job is the flexible scheduling and the only nice assistant manger(s) I have there.
Cons: The corp. doesnt take care of the store, We have alot of things that needs fixing and they usually get it temporaliy fixed or second hand. We (as in employees) dont even have a proper break area that is clean. usually its covered by boxes and we find the occasional roach in the warehouse or rest room.
Unfortunately under paid and expected to do , all store duty and not my own, doing managers job ,shes paid salary for!!

They have unrealistic expectations. And do not want to give u the proper tools u need to do ur job.

Very low pay. Wanting you to do housekeeping duties, wipe down windows, sweep mop floor every nite.all for 7.25. They need to up there pay in order to keep help. They do not want outside help, they rather promote within store to start off with less. Management needs to start off with 12 on up to 15 dollars and hours. Stockers 10.00/ cashiers 9.00.
The job isn't bad but I found out that new hires are getting paid more than I am and I have been there for 2 years.

Cons: The employees that work under me are difficult and don't meet my expectations even when I work with them to improve.
