Bonduelle Reviews

What is it like working at Bonduelle?

Laid Back Environment, but New Federal Regulations will spell disaster.
Maintenance Electrician in Rochester:
Pros: The work itself is fine and getting paid weekly is nice. My direct manager is a straightforward guy who has taught me a lot.
Cons: Work/Life balance is nonexistent in the summer months. I wind up working 60+ hours a week with my schedule constantly shifting. Discipline: Also nonexistent. Folks who have zero work ethic, and sometimes even technical skill, are still employed. Management has yet to hold these people accountable for their lack of effort towards their job. The facility itself is old and falling apart in places. As the federal government ramps up regulations on microbes in frozen food, this place will quickly be under the microscope for being severely behind where it should be per those regulations. Management is trying to fix the issues, but those fixes are merely bandaging a greater issue. They’re simply reacting, not being intelligently proactive. And that WILL come back to bite them. Recently there has been a complete breakdown in communication throughout the facility. Major projects are not properly communicated until the last minute. Overall, I would recommend avoiding this facility. It’s not going to last much longer.
