Company is in chaos today, but future is bright.
Senior Software Engineer in New York:
Pros: My base rate salary is competitive, good benefits, great office space. Company is definitely on the upswing.
Cons: Chaotic projects, hostile/incompetent middle management, deeply naive about technology and how to modernize a company.
Data Engineer in Brooklyn:
WeWork has a pretty well run data team with nice, smart people. Despite what you might see in the news, it's actually a good place to work with people trying to make good decisions with good technology.
Couldn't recommend it more.
