The Toro Company Reviews
What is it like working at The Toro Company?
Dysfunctional at times.
Mechanical Designer in Minneapolis:
Pros: Working on mechanical designs. Job is hands-on with the equipment you are designing.
Cons: Lack of vision from management. Lack of support from non-engineering divisions.
This is a great company and a great place to be employed.
District Sales Manager in Cape Coral:
Pros: The freedom to get my job done.
Cons: The paperwork
Very stressful, unappreciated and under staffed.
Technical Support Representative in Iron Mountain:
Pros: Coworker
Cons: More products with no compensation with growth
Juice not worth the squeeze.
Senior Packaging Engineer in Minneapolis:
Pros: Removing packaging from the waste stream through creative design.
Cons: Pay/Benefits/absence of project or people managers which is spread onto engineering/lean workforce. Stubborn for change with WFH/employee trust and transitioning in the 'too corporate for comfort' zone.
Toro does not care about their employees.
Quality Assurance (QA) Technician in Perry:
Pros: when I get to leave
Cons: expectations are that the employee needs the company and therefor has to do anything and everything asked of them for no added benefit. on top of the fact that you have to choose between taking time off for a vacation of time off to take care of day to day emergencies, or regular doctors visits.
"other duties as assigned" has to go. companies have been using this to rule over employees and get them to do tasks outside of their job/pay grade for too long.
Laid back but could be stressful.
Parts Manager in High Point:
Pros: Working on your own phase.
Cons: Lots of responsibilities but less pay.
Tools for better results.
Technical Services Manager in Toronto:
Pros: Contribute for the company better performance
Cons: lacking of support in many areas
