Starlight Children's Foundation Reviews
What is it like working at Starlight Children's Foundation?
Rewarding and paced at first but soon reaches overload and taken advantage of whilst being paid peanuts.
Program Coordinator, Non-Profit Organization in Sydney:
Pros: Some great colleagues, access to work car when needing to transport things, opportunity to work with performers.
Cons: Must always communicate in a "starlighty" positive approach which can be detrimental to getting key messages across, changes and improvements are slow/always excused as lack of budget, not everyone is equally recognized by executive or management, additional work is assigned to you due to lack of resources, roles that are resigned are not quickly filled on so additional work and other programs are asked of you to continue at the same low salary, a yearly bonus is less than 2% of your salary, being paid less than half of someone in another department but your workload is the same, urgent WHS issues unheard due to wanting to keep costs low.
