Senior Principle Electronics Engineer.
Senior Electronics Engineer in San Diego:
Pros: Meaningful work. Lots of ways to move laterally and up the organization, until you hit near the top of engineering. That is, if you push for yourself. You are your best advocate and control your own destiny. If you have the wanted skillset and aptitude, you can go a long way with help from your manager.
Cons: Pay not up to par with the market, if you are an "A" grade employee, compared to what same employee would get on the open market. Merit increases putrid, unless you get above average or superior annual rating.
