Day Surgery Center Reviews
What is it like working at Day Surgery Center?
Wonderful and fulfilling.
Certified Healthcare Risk Manager in Winter Haven:
Pros: The difference I try to make with our staff and patients
Cons: Management is unfair
Senior Charge Nurse (RN) in Orland Park:
This is a busy and very fast paced surgery center (we routinely turn over rooms in approximately 5-10 minutes) so sometimes there isn’t anyone to offer breaks. However, there is almost always someone to offer lunch. The Nurse Manager is amazing and always looks out for her staff, advocating for and defending them at all times. Most of the surgeons are really friendly and have been with the center for years. It is a fun place to work and the nursing / technician staff is more like a family than a group of coworkers.
Used to be a great place to work.
Senior Charge Nurse (RN) in Orland Park:
Pros: This place was the best place to work EVER! New management sucks.
Cons: At the risk of patient safety, new management is cutting corners, having fewer staff members in rooms, and denying us breaks and lunches. It’s disgusting
