Data#3 Reviews
What is it like working at Data#3?
An opportunity to build big things.
Solutions Architect in Sydney:
Pros: The national solutions team gives architects considerable freedom in how they work. Not all work is exciting, however there are opportunities to be part of some spectacularly large solutions which delivery very complex & integrated outcomes. Unlike some organisations which act like "ambulance chasers" going after every single opp or RFQ, there is a level of maturity inside Data#3 where your time is valuable and shouldn't be wasted.
Cons: Data#3 is a top-tier, award-winning partner for many vendors but they all vie for attention from sales and solution teams. Instead of trying to be the best in a few products, D3 prides itself on being able to sell anything. This approach leads to quite a significant dilution of skills in both solutions architecture and consulting.
An almost pathological aversion to risk leads to some opportunities where you have put in significant effort being wiped out by legal teams nit-picking over terms etc.
