Compass Group Reviews
What is it like working at Compass Group?
I don't work here, but my company was not available for selection, for some reason.
Accounting Assistant in San Francisco:
Pros: My current job underpays me (they pay me minimum wage), and the work environment includes a boss who doesn't wash his hands, feeque tly uses office supplies inappropriately, treats me like I am less intelligent than him.
Cons: I like nothing about this job, except that they have made my 9-5 hours slightly more flexible (8-4, 10-6) so that I can have a second job. I work up to 70 hours a week between the two, and commute about 15 hrs a week.
Barista:
Terrible, The pay is awful for the work expected.working numerous hours of unpaid work due to the tasks that need to be done wih limted time to do it in. Bullying from people in a higher position the worst job I have ever experienced would not recommend to anyone.
Good company to work for.
Executive Chef in Green Bay:
Pros: Lots of opportunities, both locally and nationally. Good pay, lots of learning takes place.
Cons: Some long hours sometimes, but it comes with the business sometimes.
It's OK but the wages and hours could be better.
Senior Chef in Auckland:
Pros: The staff and working as a team.
Cons: The pay and hourly rate.
Great.
Culinary Director in Calgary:
Pros: The people
Cons: Lack of communication
Stressful.
Facilities Director in Seattle:
Pros: I like what I do
Cons: Rentention problems
Shipping & Receiving Lead:
Management sits in the office with no clue while the good employees pick up the slack for the bad ones. Wage is inconsistent with the amount of work load and there is no Benifits for going above and beyond.
