Compass Group Reviews

What is it like working at Compass Group?

More Stress for Less.
Service Team Leader in Sylva:
Pros: Interacting with staff around the hospital and patients.
Cons: Hourly shifts from 9 hours to 12 or 13 hours for my position.
Below average pay.
Housekeeper in Halifax:
Pros: I like helping the patients and working with co-workers of many races.
Cons: Low pay and no employee appreciation.
Finance Director -- Compass -- Remote.
Finance Director in Charlotte:
Pros: Compass Group contracts with organizations across the spectrum. The dynamic portfolio of clients is what intrigues me most about the business and the opportunities that I have had to diversify my career.
Cons: Compass Group is primarily a food and beverage operator. COVID has changed the way all businesses operate. It sparks a bit of fear that "food and beverages outside the home" may be a lesser want for our population at least in the coming years.
Challenging.
Dietary Cook in Chilliwack:
Pros: providing very good meals to residents
Cons: poor communication and employees not following guidelines
Safe, secure. Opportunities for learning.
Chef Manager in Adelaide:
Pros: The feedback, paid holidays and freedom.
Cons: Abundance of paperwork, and an abundance of bosses.
It's pretty intense.
Food Service Manager in Montgomery:
Pros: The opportunity for growth with Compass is phenomenal.
Cons: Range is broad, so influence is not current with the culture that I work in. I work at a Southern private school who does not like Northern influenced foods.
Good Stability, pay, and benefits.
Food Service Supervisor in Woodstock:
Pros: I feel compass group values their employees, the wage is good and having health benefits is extremely important
Cons: I feel there is very little room for advancement which feels strange to say in such a large company. Sometimes extra processes seem redundant and lots of make-work projects are assigned.
