As summer continues, we are seeing a major slowdown in legislative action on the pay transparency front. Regardless, we are still waiting on several states’ governors to sign their already-proposed pay transparency bills into law.
Hawaii
On July 3, 2023, Governor Josh Green signed Hawaii’s pay transparency bill into law. Beginning January 1, 2024, employers with 50 or more employees will have to start including salary ranges in their job postings. Need more information on the specific requirements? We broke it down for you here.
