Truworths Reviews

What is it like working at Truworths?

A dream come true. Creating visually appealing windows for truworths is a dream come true, enticing customers to come in with the clothes I display is a hobby that I get paid for.
Merchandise Displayer / Window Trimmer in Johannesburg:
Pros: Being able to actively display my creativity in dress sense when dressing models,,bringing truworths windows to life with seasonal implementation backgrounds. Upholding the company's international high standard from the windows to instore display props, credit signage and personal appearance.
Cons: No transparency between management and display team.
Software Developer:
Pay is not bad and there are nice benefits, but the entire HR setup is very primitive and there is very little insight from management into dealing with IT and the related staff. Ridiculous amounts of red tape also add to frustration.
They have a good trainee programme, other than that not worth it.
Merchandise Planner in Cape Town:
Pros: Fun
Cons: Low pay, not transformed.
