Ampath Reviews

What is it like working at Ampath?

Ampath is a good company, but my current HOD is very rigid, prone to favouritism and does not build her personnel. I have considered suicide because of her a number of times in the past 18 months.
Staff Nurse in Johannesburg:
Pros: The job is great, we work under very stressed conditions an just a little appreciation goes a long way in feeling it is worth it.
Cons: My HOD
Ampath.
Office Administrator in Centurion:
Pros: The opportunities
Cons: The undefined salary scales/job grades
It was very nice before but now the new management has favouritism.
Phlebotomist in Pretoria:
Pros: That I get to help people who are in need and it is very challenging
Cons: My manager and her managing skills
Stress Levels.
Senior Medical Technologist:
Pros: The practicle aspect of working on the benched. We are given a lot of responsibility and are not micro-managed.
Cons: We have lots of extra task to do but are not given sufficient amount of time to do them as the practical aspect of the work takes over the paperwork aspect.
Medical Laboratory Technician:
Cons: The renumeration and the way it is calculated.
