November 2017
Be faithful.
Youth Pastor in Johannesburg:
Never look at you calling as a way to make money but rather a place to fulfill what you have been called to serve as. Yes you need to servive and know what the market value is for your position. No one will stand up for you but you.

City Culture.
Youth Pastor in Mount Vernon:
Pros: It's quiet and for the most part safe for children to grow up in.
Cons: However, due its location, the diversity isn't the best AT all. Therefore, it is questionable if it is conducive to remain here over the long hall.

Very Rewarding To Sow Into The Next Generation.
Youth Pastor:
Pros: To see students grow in their relationship with Christ.
Cons: People don't understand how much goes into ministry and they can be very critical.

Up And Down. Largely Satisfying.
Youth Pastor:
Pros: Working with students and seeing them take ownership of their faith. Watching adults that I'm investing in take more and more responsibility and seeing them invest in the students. I enjoy preparing sermons and delivering them to the students. Brainstorming ideas and working with a team is fun.
Cons: The constant search for volunteers as we gain some and lose some. The struggle to have a consistent budget for a years worth of ministry. The challenge of growth in number outpacing the growth of depth and quality of volunteer. Space is becoming an issue for both kids on Sundays and youth on Wednesdays.
