Web Developer in Paris:
Pros: It's intellectually stimulating and my particular skills and interests enable me to combine design and development. I enjoy creating things. Office culture tends to be more relaxed than in other fields such as finance etc. We are allowed relative freedom as to how to conduct or work.
Cons: Working constantly in front of a screen can get physically and mentally tiring sometimes, it makes it more difficult to get into personal projects (in front of the screen too ). Very male oriented field, the lack of balance can be often be felt in office culture.

At Reynolds... It's okay.
Web Developer in College Station:
Pros: The relative freedom to pursue creative projects as long as they are related to improving the customer's experience or the company's productivity.
Cons: There are not many benefits (like discounts at local businesses), the vacation policy is draconian. The proprietary tools we use, while sometimes innovative, are too restrictive, flimsy, and not maintained/updated properly. It is about 5 years behind the industry standard and most of the time spent on new versions is used for fixing bugs and adding undesired features.
