Web Designer Reviews
What is it like working as a Web Designer?
July 2022
Home is always good.
Web Designer in Harare:
Pros: Working in Harare is good. It's an area I grew up in so it feels like home. It's always good to be home.
Cons: power cuts here and there so I end up using solar power.
June 2021
Web Designer in Sapporo:
Pros: Much more relaxed as compared to major cities like Tokyo
Cons: Lower average pay as compared to major cities
February 2021
Wouldn't recommend...
Web Designer in Charleston:
Pros: Cheap living.
Cons: Nothing to do around here, not many places to eat, not many places to shop, and job fields are very small for people with little experience
September 2020
Lovely place to live and work.
Web Designer in Bellingham:
Pros: Easy commute and beautiful location.
Cons: Not the most opportunities for jobs.
September 2020
Creative needs more value.
Web Designer in Vancouver:
Pros: I like the city itself. Such a beautiful place to play and work in as a life backdrop.
Cons: The Canadian design industry could level up and take a page from our American neighbours in terms of the value of design and how central it is in creating exceptional and successful products/services. Thinking of companies like Dropbox, Spotify, Pentagram who continue to pave the way as the standard for what exceptional design can be. I wish Vancouver had more companies that had a greater vision that is in service of work at that level.
June 2020
I'm a freelancer, so this wasn't really useful.
Web Designer in Cape Town:
Pros: My freedom, and ability to make 100% of all the decisions and all of the profits from my job.
Cons: Not having the security of things like pensions or healthcare.
May 2020
I like it.
Web Designer in Auckland:
Pros: Busy, very social, good to in the heart of such a thriving large city
Cons: Traffic, high rent for my house, cost of living
