Waiter/Waitress Reviews

What is it like working as a Waiter/Waitress?

January 2015
Waiter/Waitress:
Always be confident in what you do, even if it means going outside your comfort zone. If you break a bottle or drop a plate don't worry everyone has been there before, and you may feel worried at first but your workmates are always there to help you out whenever you need it. If you have trouble ask someone never just stand there and try to do whatever it is you're trying to do without knowing what to do, you'll either get into trouble or you won't be trusted to do many things and be known as someone who doesn't have communication skills, in which is the main key to waitressing/wait wrong. Good luck.

Waiter/Waitress:
Pros: What I like about my job is dealing with customers about recommendation on choosing a wine or a food item from the menu. I also has a waiter like to interact with my customers and collegues to share ideas and gain more knowledge. As a waiter it was flexible and stress level is low and able to corporate with everyone.
Cons: What I least liked about my job is I get bored of using the same skills I have and would like to face a new task and get involved more into management with another organisation.

Working At Max Brenner.
Waiter/Waitress:
Pros: It's a nice, friendly environment. I enjoy chatting with my colleagues, and serving customers. It isn't a traditional cafe, so the unusual utensils allow us to engage more with the customers. There are also various roles, such as shop and desserts.
Cons: Under staffing and high employee turnover rate.

I Like My Job.

Waiter/Waitress:
Cons: The amount I get paid is unsatisfying, compared to the nature of work I have to do.

Great atmosphere.
Waiter/Waitress:
Pros: I love atmosphere in my work place. All stuff works like one team and always helps to each other in any cases. Managers are friendly and ready to be helpful well anyway they pointing out mistakes and trying to explain in proper way to avoid that happening in future. Work it self is not that hard just requires quality and attention to give the best services.
Cons: Have heard about services charged? Yep, its the that tip thing... Non of waiters have never received it. The worst part then manager is on floor and is time to pay bill for customers he always adds the "services charged"- official tips for stuff, its no-one have ever received that part from stuff. And then customers don't want to leave tips. Another thing, The chef departy members, the head chefs are selling cocaine. Well not so many people knows that, so no one does anything about it.
