What is it like working as a Vice President (VP), Product Management?

November 2021
Dynamic environment with new market challenges every day.
Vice President (VP), Product Management in Washington:
Pros: I get to work with very intelligent, capable people that sincerely want to work to solve the challenges of digital data measurement.

June 2021

Cons: Growing congestion.
May 2020
Vice President (VP), Product Management:
Work initiatives are challenging and people are very competitive and can be arrogant. You can feel like just an employee in certain fields or parts of the bank. You need to make sure you have good management that focuses on the individual and their growth. Most people leave due to lack of feeling heard or having a voice. In addition, due to bureaucracy. There are strong opinions that HR protects the company not the employee, therefore, leaving no outlet. People initiatives to improve pay disparity or diversity are showcased through new hires and not existing employees. There needs to be a greater focus on adjusting personnel in-house. Junior employees can earn a greater salary than someone with 10 years. JPMorgan focuses on total comp which there should be a Pay scale for different titles, to ensure lower levels do not make more than senior leaders in good standing.
