June 2021
With flexibility to work from home, it’s good, without the flexibility it would not be so good due to the commute.
Vice President (VP), Marketing in London:
Pros: Skills and experience of people. Attracts the best from around the world, diversity, gender and culture balance (or aspiring to achieve the balance and leading the way. London is a multi-cultural hub in Europe and a good place to be, although could get interesting to see the post Brexit effect and if London can go,d it’s own, especially with increased flexibility and home working, the boundaries just got bigger enabling more killed people to work for London based businesses without the need to be in London. I think this is a good and positive result of the pandemic and Brexit
Cons: Commuting times, and the 9-5. Both don’t allow the flexibility, and whilst some jobs are timed shifts, the work I do is not so travel should be a time allocation as part of the working hours given how many people work on trains these days!
