Vice President (VP), Consumer Lending Reviews

What is it like working as a Vice President (VP), Consumer Lending?

September 2019
Great place to live and work.
Vice President (VP), Consumer Lending in Oklahoma City:
Pros: Accessibility and culture
Cons: OKC is still trying to grow to offer big city options.

Small Credit Union, Many Hats.
Vice President (VP), Consumer Lending:
Pros: Due to the size of our credit union, each executive level staff member has many hats to wear. I am in charge of consumer and indirect lending but also contribute to business and mortgage lending as well as participate in whatever else needs time and attention. It is a position that requires a well rounded base of knowledge and I enjoy it.
Cons: Absolutely the level of stress and expectations do not match the level of pay. We are small and so is our budget - so it is sometimes difficult to get approval to allocate the resources for the best tools. I am also the only "new" executive team member - all others have 15-20+ years at the same CU.
August 2015
Vice President (VP), Consumer Lending:
Pros: Helping people to become homeowners!
Cons: Not enough flexibility.
August 2015
Secure.
Vice President (VP), Consumer Lending:
Pros: Stress level. Flexibility. Multi-task.
Cons: Work load. Pay scale. Lack of health benefits and 401k.
