Transportation Analyst in Keller:
Pros: Working from home is nice. I like that management is low key and lets you work at your own pace.
Cons: Lack of training using certain tools has hampered my ability to grow as fast as I would like in my current position

Transportation Analyst in Grand Blanc:
The position starts with a temp agency at an embarrassingly low wage. When I first started, I went in with the belief that hard work and dedication to the company would pay off. I exceeded all requirements for the role. However, it took a year to become an XPO employee after signing with the temp agency; this was considered “normal” at the time, though I (and fellow employees) were led to believe we would be hired in after 90 days. During the first year, no vacation or sick days were accrued and there were no paid holidays. Once hired in, the net pay was actually lower as an XPO (Menlo at the time) employee after medical benefits were deducted. I went another full year thinking hard work would pay off, and I essentially built an empire for the company with my innovations and improvements to the value chain. Over the course of five years, no matter what I have done for the company, my pay has only gone up 2.5 to 3% from the already top-low wage. I was told by my supervisors that this was better than most employees got.
I tried to negotiate my pay by going up the chain of command—supervisors couldn’t do anything, though they all agreed I was underpaid based on my performance. I skipped over the Operations Manager because (s)he was booked with meetings for a full month and I got tired of waiting, so I took advantage of the open-door policy at the very top, where I was basically told I should look for new positions elsewhere in the company. Here I am, five years and five later
