What is it like working as a Traffic Manager?
June 2016
Management, growth, experience, work flexibility.
Traffic Manager:
Pros: I like that I get to manage people, deadlines and offer solutions as I am firm person so it works well with my character. I'm in the office so I set my own deadlines and make sure I stick to them that means less stress. I'm in a hotel industry so working in the office has helped with not working shifts.
Cons: The fact that no one misses it when I miss something or make a mistake.

An Adventure.
Traffic Manager:
Pros: What I love most about my job is the industry. Radio is very interesting and I probably have the coolest and most essential job at the station. It is perfect for my personality type.
Cons: A lot of the miscellaneous work at the station gets sent my way. I am often a middle man between sales and production.

Don't come in and try to change process at once. People don't like change so first observe what currently works, where inefficiencies lie and talk to coworkers about what they perceive to be working or not in the process.
