My experience working as a Test Engineer so far
Test Engineer:
Pros: I love the challenges I face on the job everyday and how I have to leverage all my skills in order to solve those challenges. It helps me learn and grow as a professional.
Cons: I feel there is too much red tape. Also, the overall visibility I have in the organization is not satisfactory. I am not sure if higher management gets to know of my contributions everyday and also when I go above and beyond. Also, I feel the pay is lesser than what I deserve, considering the quality of work I do and the cost of living in Delhi/ Gurgaon.
