Technical Support Representative Reviews
What is it like working as a Technical Support Representative?
February 2020
As a technical support rep at unisys, its for the most part an enjoyable experience.
Technical Support Representative in Rochester:
Pros: I like the work at home aspect and being able to assist with fixing clients' technical issues
Cons: How stressful it can be at times due to management and how they present issues to their employees
December 2019
Frustrating.
Technical Support Representative in Los Angeles:
Pros: The people I work with.
Cons: My pay and the confusion around how pay is determined. Why is a 3% annual increase the max for the dept regardless of performance? This encourages people to do less and leaves the burden on the work to be done by the people that are diligent workers.
September 2019
Prepare to travel with the lack of places to rent or buy but the city centre can be a lovely place to work.
Technical Support Representative in Dublin:
Pros: The multiculturalism, the events that happen, plenty of places to watch movies and go for food and drink.
Cons: Sometimes there are some individuals that can be quite abusive for very little reasons.
September 2019
Not a good place to grow professionally.
Technical Support Representative in Boston:
Pros: Benefits
Cons: Lack of transparency and communication in my direct department at LastPass and hate the team culture.
June 2019
Good office experience, but don't stay here in the long term.
Technical Support Representative in Arlington:
Pros: casual atmosphere, slow periods from time to time, opportunities to problem-solve, left alone to handle my own work
Cons: low pay rate, constant miscommunication between my tech team and management, barely any opportunities for career growth
May 2019
Working in Silos.
Technical Support Representative in Truro:
Pros: Customers
Flexability
Challenges
Cons: Broken Internal Support Systems >Technical Escalation, Parts System , Lack of confidence in Sales
Lack of Communication with Upper Management
May 2019
Give and Take. Corporate heads don't have enough experience and make absolutely terrible changes.
Technical Support Representative in Jonesboro:
Pros: Colleagues know what they are doing in this field and have a uniform knowledge level. I can rely on my colleagues.
Cons: The upper management. They decide to change departments to make them more "focused on the customer experience and feelings during troubleshooting" rather than the actual quality of the technical support we give. 70% focused on Customer Service and their feelings during issues; 30% focused on the actual technical steps/lengths taken to fix the customer on the very first call. Customer Service reps deal with billing, NOT technical support.
