February 2015
Bad outways the good.
Technical Consultant:
Pros: I love what I do. Fixing phones, inventory control, everything in my job description.
Cons: I also had to do everything NOT in my job description. All that management cared about was sales. If I had a sales opportunity with a customer, it was very common for the Tech department sales to get stolen by the sales reps, and when bought to managements attention, their response always was, "They are just doing their job!" In the 2 years I have worked here, I have be required to take a sales training at least once a week, just recently, they launched the FIRST technical training ive ever seen in 2 years. And if you ever stand up for yourself and go to HR, from the moment they find out you have contacted HR, you can guarantee they will find any excuse to wright you up. I have actually seen 2 people be set up and received wright ups ending up in termination because they went to HR for unfairness. Its also a "who you know" situation when it comes to promotions and hiring opportunities. So done with this company.
