System Administrator, Server:
Pros: I work independently and have learned so much. I have the ability to learn as much or as little as I want. I have taken on many responsibilities and advanced my career greatly.
Cons: My coworker was the one and only person in this position prior to me being promoted in. She does not do her share or the work, not even a quarter of it. She was an original employee when the company starred off with 2 people, she can do no wrong. She is difficult to work with, refuses to answer to our boss, yet has no consequences. She does not work as a team and refuses to teach me things she knows and has been told to teach me. She does not properly communicate with me when she is going to lunch or leaving for the day, even if it is in the middle of the day. I recently had a review and I received a poor score due to teamwork issues, however, my boss verbally assured me she knows this is not about me and I have done all I can to work with her. I do work in other teams throughout the company wonderfully with no issues. I do get underpaid for the work that I do and it is frustrating. They play favortism, only give xmas bonuses to some.
