Store Manager (Unspecified Type) Reviews
What is it like working as a Store Manager (Unspecified Type)?
March 2023
If it weren’t for my staff, I would have left by now.
Store Manager (Unspecified Type) in Oakhurst:
Pros: I like my team in store. I have developed a strong group of people in the last year. Everyone has mutual respect and I want be a manager that can guide and develop them in their skills whether they choose to stay or leave AutoZone.
Cons: Communication and guidance from upper management. I don’t call unless my district manager or HR manager need to be made aware of incident ma in store or that can harm the well being of the team or the business. I feel like I am reporting to no one and that any safety, environmental, HR issues whatever they may be just gets brushed under a rug until I am forced to make a decision and hope I’m not told it’s wrong and have more work for myself and my team after fixing a problem that should be handled by the appropriate chain of command.
