Special Events Director Reviews
What is it like working as a Special Events Director?
June 2015
No room for advancement.
Special Events Director:
If monetary gain is crucial, don't work for a non-profit.
June 2014
Culture.
Special Events Director:
Pros: The office culture is laid back and relaxed and the work day, when we are busy flies by. The actual events are great and make all of the work during the rest of the year worth it.
Cons: The office environment is not an average age that is good for a social scene at work for someone my age. During much of the year we are very, very slow and the days and weeks can drag and drag. Also, it is the same thing year after year, which becomes boring and repetitive.
