Figure It Out.
Software Developer, Web Applications:
Pros: I love the freedom and potential of day-to-day work. There is always a hundred and one ways to do something, and it is up to you to decide how you wish to get it done. A massive sandbox, with wide boundaries and huge limits.
Cons: Sometimes things that you would imagine should be very simple can be extreme challenges at times. And, as a whole, I believe developers are under-appreciated and under-valued. We are the muscle that gets work done, requiring complete focus, and often pushed to work excess hours. Then I compare that to someone in human-resources that drinks coffee and chats with people. I wish that I did not have to get 100 things done in a day to feel like I did a good job.
