Software Consultant in Hillsboro:

October 2019
Small town feel with big city amenities.
Software Consultant in North Little Rock:
Pros: I love the laid back culture of hospitality, diversity, and acceptance. We have great access to downtown Little Rock without all the headaches of big city congestion. We have excellent internet and typically stay afloat with mainstream trends in tech and modern conveniences.
Cons: Working at a national/international tech company makes salary negotiations awkward because we don't have many tech companies in central AR, and the AR cost of living is significantly lower than most of the country.

Cons: Got lot of opportunity to learn.
May 2019
Software Consultant in Overland Park:
Netsmart was overall a good place to work with good people. However, my main criticisms would be the lack of work like balance and lack of long term product development plans that frustrate clients and employees alike. Purchasing smaller companies for their software is great, but the inability to truly absorb them into a larger product ecosystem kept things fragmented and confusing. There was also clearly an issue with a “good ol boys” feel in some areas when promotions came around. I would say it was a positive experience with a large caveat that Netsmart needs to work on the internal workings and weed out the cliquey nature in some team groups.
February 2019
