Great company with smart people and a great perks — free food, unlimited PTO, flexible remote work policy, etc; however, there is very little room to grow on the social team and it is extremely difficult to earn raises or promotions despite a company-wide review schedule.

Pros: I like the people I work with, I like the relaxed atmosphere, I like being able to utilise my skills in practice and hone them, I like working in an area I am interested in.
Cons: I don't like working weekends or into the evenings, I don't like the low pay, I don't like the travelling, I don't like the lull in activity for large parts of the year.

Pros: The quality of life is great. Beautiful routes to hike, beach to enjoy. If you live in the city, the commute is painless.
Cons: Traffic is bad if living outside the city. Capetonians are notorious for being a little clicky and flaky. Need to network effectively to build a base here.
