September 2014

It Is A Dual Responsibility Job.
Service Team Leader:
Pros: I have to opportunity to employ and develop employees on a day-to-day. Occasionally I am assigned projects and am given full control on how to acclimate the project to my department and it's overall benefits. I am responsible for evaluating employees' job performance and have discussion on the matter in the form of performance conversations and annual job performance reviews. Another facet of the job is being a night manager, where I am responsible for the store performance in the evening and night hours of the store. I love my team, my peers and my bosses, which allows for a very welcoming culture and they generally invested in me as an employee and as a person.
Cons: The hours are erratic, you can work 8 am to 4:30 pm one day and then 4 pm to 12:30 am the next day, and vice-versa. In my opinion, my pay does not match the responsibilities of my position. Occasionally I have to manage an upset or irate customer or employee. My accomplishments are not always celebrated. Opportunity for advancement is not high.

Corporate Culture.
