Overall positive but areas for improvement.
Senior Engineering Manager in Austin:
Pros: Great people, interesting work, lots of challenges (which can be good and bad)
Cons: Upper management seems not to trust lower management - important decisions are not shared with managers until they are ready to be shared with the whole organization. HR processes around raises, promotions, etc. seems very opaque. Teams are not adequately sized for the work they are asked to complete.
