Senior Electrical Engineer Reviews
What is it like working as a Senior Electrical Engineer?
August 2022
Stressful but rewarding.
Senior Electrical Engineer in La Porte:
Pros: I enjoy taking on challenges on a daily basis and being able to see immediate results in my contributions
Cons: Lack of yearly reviews leaves the feeling of not being properly compensated for the time spent going above and beyond.
July 2022
Interesting but Challenging.
Senior Electrical Engineer in Dublin:
Pros: I like that I learn something all the time
Cons: The pressure to complete tasks that are not suited to my training or background.
April 2022
Fun place to work if you are passionate about powersports.
Senior Electrical Engineer in Wyoming:
Pros: The flexibility and wide range of responsibilities is very cool, not many other places let you do what we do.
Cons: The politics and short sightedness with only caring about pleasing shareholders, but I guess that's at any larger company these days.
March 2022
Hopefully we can make it.
Senior Electrical Engineer in Phoenix:
Pros: Exciting work.
Cons: Stress. Start-up pains. Bad PR. Lack of technical expertise within the company. Overpaying many people while not paying major contributors enough.
January 2022
Senior Electrical Engineer in Odessa:
Due to the 'merging' of several companies and decisions made by corporate, an 'us versus them' mentality is pervasive throughout the company. Policies decisions that were made on the pretense to make everyone feel part of one company, have only created more animosity and division toward persons in other technology groups.
No one is held responsible for their actions until a systemic problem is determined, and then why that person wasn't able to understand what the company disseminated.
When you can't make changes that are needed within the system, you don't complain, you leave and go where you are appreciated and needed.
November 2021
Company is being gutted and turned into a sweatshop.
Senior Electrical Engineer in Everett:
Pros: Great coworkers. Challenging technical issues that I can learn from.
Cons: The company is being turned into a sweatshop by parent company Transdigm. People are leaving the company in droves, and the remaining staff are forced to assume the workload that 3,4, or 5 people used to fill in the past. Overtime is the expected solution, but salaried employees are not paid for overtime. There is nothing fun about working for this company.
July 2021
Its okish.
Senior Electrical Engineer in London:
Pros: the freedom to do things how you want.
Cons: Too many small jobs, communication and checking needs to happen a bit more, self development mainly.
