SEM - Data driven side of Marketing
Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist:
Pros: You look after high budgets in an ever changing environment. It is very data driven so you can justify your decisions. Results for tests and sucesses are quickly identified, so it can be very satisfactory. You can work from home or anywhere with internet access. It is connected to most parts of the business and SEM is seen as a buisness driver.
Cons: It can be very stressful and if things don't go to plan the whole business will be looking at you to explain things. Software and Tools can often limit your abilities as well as data sparsity and long waiting times to load the data. It can be very repetitive if there are specific jobs to be completed that involve account changes or new keywords etc.
